Who we are and scope
Ophir Scales is a business brand operated by CowboyFX LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“we,” “us”). This policy covers ophirscales.com, inquiries to our team, business outreach and information we handle to provide our services. For questions or requests, contact aj@ophirscales.com.
A separate client system or engagement may have additional notices and agreed data-processing terms. This policy does not replace those terms or another organization’s own privacy notice.
Information and sources
- Inquiries and bookings: your name, email, telephone number, business details, scheduling preferences and the information you choose to send by email or through Calendly.
- Website delivery: technical information such as IP address, browser/device details, requested pages, referrer, request time and security events handled by our hosting providers.
- Business outreach: public business names, professional contacts, websites, locations and public business activity obtained from business websites, directories or public profiles.
- Client services: agreed project files, instructions, billing/business records, approval records and campaign or operational information supplied by the client or an authorized integration. An invited client system may also handle account identifiers, membership, comments and feedback.
Please do not send passwords, card numbers, medical records, confidential legal files or other sensitive information through ordinary email or booking fields. Arrange an approved transfer method and scope first.
Why we use information
We use information to respond to you, schedule conversations, assess service fit, prepare proposals, deliver agreed work, communicate about projects, maintain business records, honor contact preferences and protect our systems. Authorized campaign metrics may support reporting and analysis. We do not treat an inquiry or booking as consent to an unrelated SMS campaign.
Providers, sharing and AI
Providers used for the public site and communications include Cloudflare (hosting and security), Google Fonts (font delivery), Calendly (external booking), and email services such as Gmail and Purelymail. These providers receive the information needed for their role. Client-specific tools, hosting, authentication, storage, advertising-platform connections and AI providers depend on the agreed engagement.
Before using sensitive or confidential client information with an AI service or an additional integration, the project must define approved data, access, hosting and vendor handling. Local AI and cloud AI have different data flows; a local model does not by itself make the whole workflow private. AI output requires appropriate human review.
Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers, where required by law, to investigate misuse or protect rights, or in a lawful business transfer subject to applicable safeguards. Providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate.
Cookies, fonts and external links
The public source does not install a Meta advertising pixel, Google Analytics, session-replay software or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may provide cookieless usage/performance measurements in addition to hosting and security. Google Fonts requests disclose technical connection information to Google. See our Cookies & tracking notice for details and browser choices.
Calendly, social links and linked demonstration websites open separately. The services you visit control their own collection and notices. Scheduling is also available by emailing us if you prefer not to use Calendly.
Retention and protection
Retention depends on the purpose, project duration, outstanding requests, provider settings and applicable business, legal or security requirements. We keep minimal suppression records where needed to honor an outreach opt-out. Ask us about a particular record or engagement; there is no single retention period for every category.
We use safeguards appropriate to the work, but no system is completely secure. Access, backup, deletion and vendor controls for client systems must be defined for the engagement.
Your choices and requests
You may ask to access, correct or delete information we hold, stop outreach or discuss a privacy concern through our privacy request instructions or by emailing aj@ophirscales.com. Depending on applicable law, additional rights may include obtaining a copy, opting out of certain processing or appealing a request decision. We assess requests under the laws that apply; this is not a statement that every privacy statute covers every visitor or service.
We may need limited information to verify identity or an authorized agent’s authority. Do not send identity documents in an initial email. Legal, security or contractual reasons may require retaining particular records. We will explain an applicable limit and any available appeal route.
Tracking signals and third-party collection
We do not sell information through the public website’s features or use those features for cross-context behavioral advertising. This site currently does not change its functionality in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals because it has no sale/sharing or targeted-advertising preference to switch. If those practices change, applicable signal handling and other required choices must be implemented before the new tracking is enabled.
Hosting and font providers can receive technical information during a visit. Independently operated services may collect information after you follow a link, including under their own cookie or account settings.
Children
Our services are directed to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can review and address it.
Changes and contact
We post revisions here with a new effective date and provide additional notice where applicable law requires it. Review this policy when starting a new engagement or sharing information. Privacy contact: aj@ophirscales.com.
